Today, we will begin directly with a recipe for my favorite soup. My mother cooked it whenever I asked her, because it was very simple to prepare and all of the ingredients were always at home.

MILLION SOUP (pronounce “MEELEEOHNOVAH POLEHVKAH”)

Ingredients:
Chicken or vegetable bouillon (cubes)
1 spoon of butter
1 egg (optional)
5 spoons of cream of wheat
Carrots (finely grated)
Root vegetables (optional – may also be finely grated or cut)
Green parsley or chives (optional)
Salt
Pepper

Preparation:
In a large soup pot thaw butter on which you then fry carrots (or other root vegetables) and cream of wheat. Mix thoroughly. Then pour in one cup of water and mix it in order to avoid lumps. Then pour in more water and boil. Add broth, pepper and salt to your liking and mix and slightly boil more. My mom did not add eggs, but you can also try to mix in one egg at the end of cooking. Add parsley or chives to each plate to decorate. Enjoy!

Dnes zacneme primo s receptem na mou oblibenou polevku. Moje mama ji varila kdykoliv jsem ji pozadala, protoze byla velmi jednoducha na pripravu a vsechny prisady byly vzdycky doma.

 

MILIONOVA POLEVKA

 

Prisady:

Kureci nebo zeleninovy bujon (kostky)

1 lzice masla

1 vejce (nepovinne)

5 lzicek krupice

Mrkev (nastrouhana na jemno)

Korenova zelenina (nepovinne  – take muze byt nastrouhana a nebo nakrajena)

Zelena petrzel nebo pazitka (nepovinne)

Sul

Pepr

 

Priprava:

Ve velkem hrnci na polevku rozpustime maslo na kterem orestujeme mkrev (a nebo dalsi korenovou zeleninu) a krupici pri stalem michani. Pote vse zalijeme hrnkem vody a zamichame aby se nevytvorily hrudky. Pote dolijeme vice vody a povarima. Pridame bujon, pepr a sul podle chuti, zamichame a povarime vice. Moje mama nepridavala vejce, ale muzete take zkusit vmichat ke konci vareni jedno rozkvedlane vejce. Na ozdobu pridejte do kazdeho talire petrzel a nebo pazitku. Dobrou chut!
